Paweł Opaliński
Pawel Opalinski
Born on February 23, 1967 in Kielce (Poland). A graduate of the Faculty of Graphics and Painting of the Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź (Poland) – diploma with honors in the publishing graphics design studio in 2003. Doctorate at the Academy of Fine Arts in Lodz (Poland) in 2011. Habilitation in 2017 at the Faculty of Painting of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw (Poland). Author of advertising campaigns, graphic designs for many publications – including dozens of press layouts, projects in the field of industrial design; illustrator and photographer. Member of the Association of Polish Art Photographers since 2008. In the years 2011-2014 he was the vice-president of the Board of the Świętokrzyskie District of the Association of Polish Art Photographers in Kielce (Poland) and a member of the Artistic Council of the Main Board of Association of Polish Art Photographers in Warsaw (Poland). He shares his design and photographic creativity with his didactic work – at art schools in Poland he conducts his own lectures on design, photography and digital graphics. Lecturer at the European Academy of Art in Warsaw (Poland), the University of Information Technology in Łódź (Poland) and the Institute of Visual Arts at the Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce (Poland) – where he has been working as a professor since 2018.
His artistic research interests include the emotions of the recipient of a visual message – in which, as the creator, he interacts through a specific code, calculated and shaped for a specific purpose. Searching for innovative forms of photographic expression, he uses his own experimental imaging techniques. A special place in his work is occupied by landscape photography and creative photography. Artistic works, exhibited both in Poland and abroad, have brought the author a number of awards, including in such prestigious competitions as the MUSE Photography Awards (USA), International Photography Awards (USA), European Photo Awards, Tokyo International Foto Awards (Japan), Paris Photography Prize (France), Mountain Photography Biennial (Poland) or International Mountain Photography Competition (Poland). The author has also been awarded the Tatra National Park Award (Poland) twice for popularizing the beauty of Tatra landscapes.

Paweł Opaliński – Urodzony 23 lutego 1967 w Kielcach (Polska). Absolwent Wydziału Grafiki
i Malarstwa Akademii Sztuk Pięknych w Łodzi (Polska) – dyplom z wyróżnieniem w pracowni projektowania graficznego wydawniczego w 2003 r. Doktorat na Akademii Sztuk Pięknych w Łodzi (Polska) w 2011 r. Habilitacja w 2017 roku na Wydziale Malarstwa ASP w Warszawie. Autor kampanii reklamowych, projektów graficznych wielu publikacji – w tym kilkudziesięciu layoutów prasowych, projektów z zakresu wzornictwa przemysłowego; ilustrator i fotograf. Członek Związku Polskich Artystów Fotografików od 2008 roku. W latach 2011-2014 był wiceprezesem Zarządu Okręgu Świętokrzyskiego Związku Polskich Artystów Fotografików w Kielcach oraz członkiem Rady Artystycznej Zarządu Głównego Związku Polskich Artystów Fotografików w Warszawie. Swoją twórczość projektową i fotograficzną łączy z pracą dydaktyczną – w szkołach artystycznych w Polsce prowadzi autorskie wykłady z zakresu projektowania, fotografii i grafiki cyfrowej. Wykładowca Europejskiej Akademii Sztuki w Warszawie (Polska), Wyższej Szkoły Informatyki w Łodzi (Polska)

Jego artystyczne zainteresowania badawcze obejmują emocje odbiorcy przekazu wizualnego –
w którym jako twórca oddziałuje poprzez specyficzny kod, obliczony i ukształtowany w konkretnym celu. Poszukując innowacyjnych form fotograficznej ekspresji, wykorzystuje własne, eksperymentalne techniki obrazowania. Szczególne miejsce w jego twórczości zajmuje fotografia krajobrazowa i fotografia kreatywna. Prace artystyczne, wystawiane w kraju i za granicą, przyniosły autorowi szereg nagród, m.in. w tak prestiżowych konkursach jak MUSE Photography Awards (USA), International Photography Awards (USA), European Photo Awards, Tokyo International Foto Awards (Japonia), Paris Photography Prize (Francja); Biennale Fotografii Górskiej (Polska) lub Międzynarodowy Konkurs Fotografii Górskiej (Polska). Autor jest także dwukrotnym laureatem Nagrody Tatrzańskiego Parku Narodowego (Polska) za popularyzację piękna tatrzańskich krajobrazów.
